Dr. Sinead Sheehan graduated from Trinity College in Dublin in 1995.
She completed the Central Manchester GP Training Scheme and worked as a GP in Manchester for 10 years, prior to moving back to Ireland.
She has special interests in Dermatology, Occupational Health, having worked as a Clinical Assistant in Manchester, in Oldham, in these specialties.
In addition she has Postgraduate Diplomas in Family Planning, Occupational Health (works doctor), Medicine for the Elderly and Diploma in Child Health .
She has completed the European certificate in Palliative Care Medicine.
She is an accredited instructing tutor for Long Acting Contraceptive Methods, Eg Mirena and Implanon insertion.
She has recently completed a British Menopause Training Course.
In addition, she is a Trainer of GPs, affiliated with the Trinity College Scheme

Our practice is a teaching practice. This means we get allocated a Fully Qualified Doctor, each year, who wishes to specialise in General Practice, from the Trinity College Training Scheme. We feel very fortunate to have been approved to be involved in training the doctors of the future and find it an invaluable way of staying in touch, with the advances in medicine. This year we are delighted to have Dr. Caoifa Madden with us who is a wonderful addition to the practice.
