By submitting the prescription form you consent to Rathdrum Medical Practice processing your information for the purpose of issuing a prescription. You understand you would be sending personal sensitive information about yourself across the Internet. You understand that your information will be handled securely in line with Practice Policy and that you acknowledge that it takes up to 72 hours to process prescription.

Only holders of valid medical cards are entitled to free prescription requests. All other requests incur standard charges.
Online prescriptions will only be provided to patients who have had a GP consultation within the last 12 months.
The maximum duration that repeat prescriptions can be issued for depends on a number of clinical factors e.g requirement for ongoing monitoring, specialist advice etc. If we can't provide the number of months requested we will send a text message or phone to inform you of why and what the next steps will be.
Prescriptions will only be sent electronically to nominated pharmacies and cannot be emailed to patients directly.
