Dr. Sinead Sheehan

Dr. Sinead Sheehan graduated from Trinity College in Dublin in 1995.

She completed the Central Manchester GP Training Scheme and worked as a GP in Manchester for 10 years, prior to moving back to Ireland.

She has special interests in Dermatology, Occupational Health, having worked as a Clinical Assistant in Manchester, in Oldham, in these specialties.

In addition she has  Postgraduate Diplomas in Family Planning, Occupational Health (works doctor), Medicine for the Elderly and Diploma in Child Health .

She has completed the European certificate in Palliative Care Medicine.

She is an accredited instructing tutor for Long Acting Contraceptive Methods, Eg Mirena and Implanon insertion.

She has recently completed a British Menopause  Training Course.

In addition, she is a Trainer of GPs, affiliated with the Trinity College Scheme

Our reception team are trained to ask relevant questions when you request an appointment. This is to help us prioritise urgent cases and ensure all patients receive the appropriate level of care in a timely manner. Understanding the reason for your visit allows us to direct you to the most suitable healthcare professional. Every day, our reception team assists patients with a wide range of queries and needs. They are the first point of contact for appointment bookings, prescription requests, and general information. Their role involves asking important questions to ensure you receive the right care, quickly and efficiently. We kindly ask that all patients treat our reception team with respect. They are dedicated professionals working diligently to assist everyone. Their role in asking necessary questions is crucial for efficient patient care. Your cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated.
